FAQs

What types of services do you offer?

We offer a range of consulting services, including AI-enhanced curriculum development, K-8 EdTech strategy planning, professional learning workshops, personalized coaching for educators, and support for implementing project-based learning and integrating makerspace curriculum.

How are services priced?

Pricing varies depending on the service, scope, and length of engagement. Individual coaching sessions are billed hourly. Workshops are available in half-day and full-day formats, and school-wide engagements can be structured as hourly, packaged, or ongoing retainer arrangements. A complimentary discovery call is the best first step; from there, I'll recommend an approach that fits your goals and budget.

How are services delivered?

Services are available virtually and in person. Individual coaching sessions and many workshops are conducted remotely for flexibility. In-person engagements are also available for schools seeking on-site professional development or faculty training. Based in Atlanta, GA, I am available to travel for the right partnership.

Who do you typically work with?

We partner with K-8 schools, instructional leaders, classroom teachers, and educational organizations - both public and independent - who are seeking to reboot their approach to technology integration, curriculum planning, or instructional design.

How can AI support teaching and learning?

AI can streamline lesson planning, personalize learning experiences, and enhance student engagement. We help educators utilize AI tools responsibly and effectively, saving time, designing innovative projects, and better meeting student needs.

What does the engagement process look like?

It starts with a complimentary discovery call where I listen first, you share your school's needs, priorities, and goals, and together we determine whether there's a strong fit. If there is, I'll develop and share a customized proposal outlining the scope and structure of the work. For longer-term engagements, I build in transparent goal documentation from the start, along with monthly check-ins to track progress and provide consistent feedback, so your school always has a clear picture of where things stand and how participants are moving toward their goals.

How do you approach student data privacy and age-appropriate AI use?

Age-appropriateness is built into every recommendation I make. I reference the North Carolina AI Literacy Framework to guide tool selection and instructional design across grade levels, including the important distinction that PK–5 students should learn about AI without direct exposure to chatbots. I work with a range of tools, including Magic School AI, Google Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot, and recommend tools based on your school's context rather than a single platform. While AI policy development is adjacent to my core work, I'm happy to serve as a thought partner as your school navigates those decisions.

Do you offer customized professional development for schools?

Yes! All of our workshops and coaching sessions are tailored to meet your school's specific goals and your teaching staff's needs. We co-design experiences that align with your mission, standards, and instructional priorities.
